My name is Tyler. I am a local portrait artist in Farmington, New Mexico. Almost everything I know about drawing, painting, or sculpting, I taught myself. I had an amazing art teacher in high school that got me started, but I have had to figure most everything out on my own. I am debating on whether or not to study art in college. I love music. It is what inspires me.
Music I love: Jimi Hendrix(I am a Hendrix fanatic), Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Opeth, Santana,SRV, Metallica, Steve Vai, Johnny Lang, Audioslave, and a whole lot more.
-fire and blood- She has the ability to write these stories that grab your imagination, tear it from reality and take it to a place you could have never imagined on your own. She is amazing. It is well worth your time to check her stuff out.

I just sent off a a cd of some of my work to a competitiion in New York. I am still waiting to hear if I got in. This could be a very important event for me as an artist. I really hope I get in. I submitted "Daddy's Hands" and "My Sweet Lainey". So everyone cross your fingers for me. This competition could launch me into a who new realm of the art profession.
